How to Record Live TV Channels on LG TV

How to Record on LG Smart TV with USB Drive

You need to connect a USB hard drive or flash drive to record and store TV programs on your LG Smart TV.

LG webOS 6.0 TV or Higher

1. First, connect your USB drive with a minimum storage of 1 GB to the LG TV.

2. Power on your TV and press the Home button on your remote control.

3. Next, select View TV Guide in the Home Dashboard section.

4. Now, pick the TV program that you wish to record and click the i icon.

5. A pop-up will appear on the TV screen. You need to tap the Record option and choose your recording preference.
