Telegram is a popular messaging app that allows users to communicate easily through text, voice, and video calls. Unfortunately, the Telegram app is not available for LG TV. How to Use Telegram on LG TV Via Web Browser
1. Hit the Home button on the LG remote and hit the Web Browser tile at the bottom.
2. Now, enter the Telegram website URL (https://web.telegram.org/) in the search bar.
3. After reaching the official website, you will see two different options to log in to your Telegram account.
Log In to Telegram by QR Code:
- Open Telegram on your Smartphone and navigate to Settings. Tap Devices and click the option Link Desktop Device.
Log In by Phone Number:
- After selecting this option, select your Country and enter the registered Phone Number.
- Once done, tap the Next button to get the code via message and enter it in the respective field to log in to your account.
4. After signing in, you can find and access your Telegram chat on the LG TV.
How to Screen Mirror Telegram on LG Smart TV
To screen mirror the Telegram app from your Smartphone to your LG TV, you need to connect the TV and Smartphone to the same WiFi.
Android Phone
1. Next, install the Telegram app from the Play Store on your Android Phone.
2. Open the app after installation and log in to the account.
3. Next, go to the Notification Panel, click the Cast icon, and hit the LG TV name from the list.
4. Now, the Telegram app’s screen will be displayed on your LG Smart TV.
iPhone
To screen mirror the Telegram app from your iPhone, you must enable the AirPlay option on your TV.
Enable AirPlay on LG TV – Press the Input button → Home Dashboard → AirPlay → AirPlay and HomeKit Settings → Turn On AirPlay.
